Water-Based PU

Water-based PU leather is synthetic leather alternative made of water-based PU resins / waterborne PU resin dispersions. Since the water-based /waterborne PU resins do not contain DMF (Dimethylformamide).
Water-based PU leather does not have any solvents as this has been replaced by water and is non-toxic, phthalates free and does not include heavy metals.
It’s breathable properties, compared to normal PU which is not breathable, is a perfect material for handbags and fashion accessories.
With a recycled polyester fabric backing, water-based PU leather is GRS (Global Recycled Standard）certified.
It can also be classified as an eco friendly material, as it causes far less pollution to our environment, than standard solvent-based PU.
